Faustino Bernadett's Donation Through Long Beach Gives Inspires Community Support

Earl Burns Miller Japanese Gardens

Faustino 'Tino' Bernadett and his wife, Martha, are proud supporters of the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Gardens, a place that holds special meaning for Martha, as she often visited with her mother growing up.

Located on the CSULB campus as part of the College of Health and Human Services, the Garden serves as a living museum, providing a space for education, art, and culture. Visitors can feed the koi, stroll along the serene pathways, explore the Tea House, or reflect in the Zen Garden. Each season brings new blooms, cultural events, and exhibitions, offering moments of beauty and reflection.

Dr. Tino Bernadett’s support ensures that the Garden remains open and accessible, contributing to a place that celebrates diversity, education, and community. His commitment to organizations like this one reflects his dedication to education, especially for underserved communities.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden depends on the generosity of donors to continue enriching the cultural and educational experiences of both students and visitors. This peaceful space provides a sanctuary for all to enjoy in the heart of Long Beach. This year, Tino Bernadett supported the Garden through Long Beach Gives, a citywide online fundraising campaign dedicated to helping local nonprofits thrive.
